The Chairman of the State Duma’s Federation Council Sergey Mironov has sent the greeting to the quests, badminton fans and competitors. He is also the Chairman of the guardian council of the National badminton development fund. Mr.Mironov mentions that the tournament in Ramenskoe is on of the most significant sport events in Russia in this year. It’s a great honor to hold it in the Olympic year.
Making badminton very popular sport in Russia is one of the fund’s aims. Mironov wishes success to all teams and good impressions to spectators.

The participants of the Eurocup also have received the greeting from the Chairman of the Cosmonaut’s Training Center of Gagarin, Vasily Tcibliev. He hopes that later this tournament will be held in Zvezdny gorodok (Star town). Badminton is one of the most important components in the physical preparation of cosmonauts.
